Makeup Artist / Hair Stylist

When Sara was nine years old, she remembers sneaking into her mother's makeup box and finding her glossy red lipstick. She pretended she was all grown up and going out for a night on the town. She tried to look and act like her mother as she applied it to her lips. It was at that moment that Sara fell in love with the art of makeup, realizing how a touch of color could change a person's mood and increase confidence.

Sara became a licensed esthetician in 2007, and began working as a makeup artist for Sephora, where she received advanced training in both makeup application and skincare at Sephora's corporate offices in San Francisco. In 2010, after building her makeup skills at Sephora for three years, she decided to go back to school to become a hair stylist. Sara is very excited to now be able to offer the whole package, from precision haircutting and color, to eyebrow waxing and special-occasion/special-effects makeup. She also offers an eye makeup update, her tutorial for the application of eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and eyebrow filler. The eye update comes with a complimentary face chart that she fills in for you so it can be easily referenced from home.

She is currently accepting new clients, as well as continuing my education by assisting the owner of Sorella Hair Studio and Master Stylist, Lea Oberlander.
